Binkadi is very fortunate to have a team of staff with philosophies that align with our core values. Caregivers contribute perspectives from a variety of lived experience, educational/employment backgrounds including social work, psychology, drug and addictions, trauma informed care and behaviour management in addition to personal talents , skills and abilities.

The Directors

Me-Kon

Executive Director

My name is Me-Kon Hayes . I’m Victorian by birth and grew up on the Saanich Peninsula. I’m a wife, mother of five, and have worked and volunteered in a variety of settings including homes, schools and community.

I have worked under contract with the Ministry of Children and Family Development since 2000,  first as a foster parent, then running staffed community homes before establishing Binkadi Community Services in 2016.

DIRECTOR OF H.R

Robin Kasper leads the human resources department, focusing on the onboarding process  employee benefits and payroll.

Chris

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Chris Dunham oversees the daily operations at Binkadi, ensuring that programs and services run smoothly. His role is crucial in maintaining the organization’s high standards of care and support for youth.

Focusing on staff development and organizational culture. Her efforts ensure that Binkadi’s Team is well-equipped to provide quality care.
